Cha Baa, Thai for hibiscus, is a cheerful and delicate tropical flower. It is a symbol of the friendly light heart and genuine character of the Thai people.

Our goal was to bring affordable, delicious, and authentic Thai dishes to the Maritimes. Since opening our Halifax location in 2007 we have received great community support and reviews leading to restaurants in Dartmouth & Bedford. Thai cuisine is internationally renowned for its hot and spicy flavours. The basic ingredients include garlic, chilies, lime juice, lemon-grass, fresh coriander leaf, fermented fish sauce, and shrimp paste.
Not all the ingredients are listed for each menu item. If you have any special menu requests in terms of spiciness or allergies, please inform your server. Peanuts are also a part of several dishes and are widely used in the kitchen.
Where possible, we prefer to use the freshest vegetables in all our dishes. Some items listed in the ingredients may not be included or may be substituted depending upon availability.
