Huge variety of dishes, AMAZING flavours and prompt, courteous service. Honestly, it doesn’t get better. Normally I write longer reviews, but I think I’ve said all that needs to be said. Oh, and the masaman curry here, heavenly.

If you want to taste Thailand in Nova Scotia, Cha Baa Thai is always a safe bet. With vibrant atmosphere that’s reflective of the great land, and food that is even more authentic, you get the whole shebang in one sitting. But the true winner here is flavour— there’s so much of it. Alongside Best Thai, the restaurant placed gold for Best Lunch Specials, which means you can safely eat (inhale) your Pad Thai…

Got there slightly before 12pm and one of the servers let us in early. That was a nice thought as it was a bit chilly outside! The food was really nice. We had lunch specials (very reasonably priced), my partner has the cashew tofu and I had the vegetable green curry. The presentation on the plate was very appetizing, and the food was very flavourful. We plan to visit Chabaai Thai again!

Just moved to Halifax and tried all of the Thai places. This is the best! We ordered a pineapple fried rice and it was served in a carved out pineapple shell. So creative and so delicious! I’m overdue to go again…

We were in a hurry (only 25 mins to leave for the airport) and our server was exceptionally helpful and just the right amount of friendly. We ordered the Cashew Vegetables and Penang Curry w/ chicken… Both were out in less than 10 minutes and both were prepared to perfection (the Cashew Vegetables were cooked just right, not too crunchy, not too soft and so flavorful) the Penang Curry might be the best I’ve ever had, certainly one of the best – Again, the vegetables were cooked just right, but the curry was outstanding.
